Great escape to Monaco from the City and Fener awaits in its… castle!

After a tough and close derby, with mistakes and missed shots at the end, the Monegasques prevailed 65-62 her Fenerbahce and thus the series was moved to a fifth and final match in the Principality (8/5, 20:00).

With back-to-back three-pointers from both of them, the second half started and Fener steadily maintained its lead (42-36), until the 24th minute. With an outburst from Blossomgame and Ouattara, Monaco went ahead and reached +4 (44-48), in the 26th minute. However, in the last minutes, nothing changed dramatically, as both were off target, with Papagiannis reducing to a point (47-48), at the end of the third period.

He held the derby well even in the fourth quarter (52-52), with Lloyd and Hall sending Monaco to +4 (52-56), in the 36th minute. Fener responded with Calathes and Guduric, reducing to a point (57-58), in the 38th minute. With a big three-pointer by James, the Monegasques went to +4 (57-61), in the 39th minute. This was followed by 2/2 shots by Wilbekin and a basket by Hall and the three-pointer by Goodrich that brought the game to a point (62-63), with 22.2 minutes to go. At 18” James fouled 5” and Fenerbahce had the last attack, with Wilbekin missing a floater at 5.1”. There was no foul on the rebound and Hall made the final 62-65!
