Two matches at Olympiakos

“Bell” of ESAP in Olympiakos. The sports judge of the League imposed a penalty of two games on the “red and whites” and an additional fine of 5,000 euros for the actions of their fans in the fourth final of the men’s Volley League against Panathinaikos.

In detail, the announcement:

“The President of the Single Member Judiciary Body ESAP…, bearing in mind the provisions of articles 1, 11, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23 (c), 25, 27, 28, 38 . -2024, article 41G par. 3c para. i sec. a’ and b’ of Law 2725/1999 and article 41D par. 6A sec. a’ of Law 2725/1999, as par. 6A was added by Article 14 of Law 5085/2024. Taking into account the claims of the accused TAA with the name ‘Olympiakos S.F.P.’, as developed orally during the discussion of the case on 26.04.2024, by his attorney, Michael Hydraios.

After assessing the documents of the case file (match sheet, match commissioner registration form, observer report sheet, no. prot. 1003/7/63/1/13-ız/23.4.2024 document of the General Policing Department of the Piraeus Police Directorate ) in combination with the video of the match, which was taken into account as an auxiliary element (judicial evidence) according to article 14 par. 3 of the Special Disciplinary Regulation of the E.S.A.P.

It imposes on the above T.A.A., for the match held on 22.4.2024, at K.G. Rentis “Melina Merkouri” (4th final Play Off with Panathinaikos A.O.):

Pursuant to the above and by merging the above financial penalties, the suspended TAA is imposed: a) the penalty of the deprivation of the right to compete in the presence of fans at its headquarters for two (2) match days, and b) the fine of five thousands of euros (€ 5,000.00), consisting of the heavier penalty of €3,750.00 plus € 750.00 and €500.00, i.e. half of each of the concurrent penalties of € 1,500 and €1,000 respectively (proportional application of article 13 of the Special Disciplinary Regulation of the E.S.A.P.)”.
