Sloukas: “Qualification to the Final Four is justification – Obviously I could be in the top five”

The time is now counting down for Panathinaikos AKTOR’s friends, in order to see their team again in the Final Four of the Euroleague after 12 years.

The “greens” after the sensational series with Maccabithey will face the Fenerbahce in the first semi-final in Berlin and the captain of the team, Kostas Sloukasspoke to Novasports channels about this particular success, about the fact that he was voted a member of the second five in the Euroleague, but also about the fact that he donated the qualification premium to the “clover” staff.

For being a team: “Our stamp that we are a team is the fact that we qualified for the Final-4. If you’re not a team, you don’t have chemistry, you’re not in the Final-4. You see that it is a very closed club in recent years and it is a success that Panathinaikos is entering… a wedge”.

For being voted a member of the second best five: “It’s a big debate. Obviously I could be in the first one. It is a distinction that makes me very happy. The labors of a whole year, the stress, the pressure, all this is a personal reward and compensation. There is no greater compensation than qualifying for the Final-4. For me, this is the biggest justification.”
