Pavlos Marinakis: “How did the final of the Cup in basketball take place with people without the slightest incident?”

Direct shots to EPO launched Pavlos Marinakis in his statements on Channel 1 of Piraeus. The Government representative brought as example the final of the basketball Cup which took place in the presence of people without doing the slightest thing – as he mentioned – and spoke of a persistence for the holding of the Cup final in football at Panthessalikos without people.

Among other things, Mr. Pavlos Marinakis stated:

“The EPO’s response did not make us any wiser. A seat was chosen and I accept that when this choice was made, the new rules, which are now in force, with cameras and tickets, were not known. But there was an insistence on this choice. It is a contradiction. I was asked in the capacity of Government Representative, but I do not stop being a person who loves sports and football and basketball. What will we answer to the people, who love their team and see that in the same country that can organize a European Final with the participation of a Greek team and with people, it cannot be handled by the E.P.O. in order to organize the Greek Cup Final with the participation of fans of both teams? I mean, how did the Hellenic Cup Final between Olympiakos and Panathinaikos take place in basketball with people in attendance without the slightest incident?».
