Nan: “I didn’t expect to renew with Panathinaikos, it’s an honor for me – I prefer Real in the final”

In rhythm Final Four they all move to the Panathinaikos ACTOR, with the team flying for Berlin on Wednesday (22/05) and play the semi-final against Fenerbahce on Friday (24/05, 19:00).

In view of this great event, Mr Kendrick Nunn spoke to Nova’s “Playmakers” about what he expects from the Final Fourfor the renewal of his contract but also for being voted as a member of the best five.

In detail what he said:

For the semi-final with Fenerbahçe: “It will be a battle, we know that, 40 minutes game for the team that goes to the final, we will enjoy it. I feel great, I showed my competitiveness, I brought a winning mentality to the team and I tried to get better every day. We’re a fresh team, so we’ve had to get things in line quicker than expected, but we’ve bonded and are on the same page.”

For being part of the top five: “It’s an honor for me to be part of the top five in the Euroleague, there are great players there, I’m grateful to be there.”

To customize: “When I first came we were still searching for our identity as a team, it took me a while to adapt, find my footing, slow down, play better defense, turn the ball over to ‘warm up’ my teammates.”

On his renewal with Panathinaikos: “I didn’t expect it at all to be honest, I had it in my mind that I’m coming to play a year and see what I can do at the top level again, but I’ve embraced everything all season, it’s an honor for me to sign the contract extension me with a great club, with amazing fans. I would like nothing more than to play for these fans and make it my home.”

For the goal and MVP: “That’s my goal, I haven’t checked it off my list. There are four teams left, what you have to do is win two games, I will do everything to be the best for my team and get these victories.”

For his preference in the final: “I’d say Real Madrid because we managed to beat them away from home, but whoever they’re up against will have fun.”
