PAE Atromitos is pleased to announce the start of its partnership with Pablo Garcia, taking on the role of coach for the 2024/25 season.
The Uruguayan technician, born on May 11, 1977, is one of the country’s greatest football personalities, having as a footballer 66 appearances with his national team, while wearing the shirt of Milan, Real Madrid, Celta, among others. In Greece, he made over 100 appearances with the PAOK team.
He took the first steps of his coaching career from July 2015, when he was a member of the PAOK K17 technical team, while in July 2016 he took over the K20 (later K19) section of the Thessaloniki team. He remained in this position until the summer of 2020 and won three championships.
During that time, specifically in October 2020, he took charge of PAOK’s first team, succeeding Abel Ferreira and completed his term in May 2021. In this particular season, he led PAOK to 2nd place in the Super League and most importantly, won the Cup of Greece beating Olympiakos in the final 2-1.
From 2021 to 2023 he continued his career at PAOK B’ in the Super League 2 championship and in 2023 he returned to the Stoiximan Super League, taking over Panserraikos. With the Serres team and in its return after many years in the top division, it finished in 7th place in the Stoiximan Super League.
