It consists of twelve female athletes mission of the national artistic swimming teamwhich leaves tomorrow for Belgrade, in order to participate in European Athletics Championships, starting on Monday (10/6) in the Serbian capital. The remarkable thing is that the world champion in the technical program (and second in the freestyle), Evangelia Plataniotis, will not compete at all in the solo, where she is replaced by Zoi Karangelou. The duet of Plataniotis with Sofia Malkogeorgou, who has secured qualification for the Olympic Games, will only participate in the technical program, apparently with the aim of “saving” the freestyle for Paris.
In the team events, new faces in relation to the World Championships in Doha are 18-year-old Athina Kamarinopoulou, 16-year-old Vasiliki Thanou and also 16-year-old Estella Karamanidou, who is however declared as a substitute. Danae Karioris was left out of the team, while Malkogeorgou will not compete in the team.

The federal coaches, Anastasia Gutseva and Natalia Tsernetska, and the physiotherapist George Demetis will also travel to Belgrade, while on Sunday (9/6) the international judges Pandora Karakousis and Evita Kofidis and the technical controller Elena Stravakou will depart.
