Karditsa renewed with Diplaros

THE Nikos Diplaros he is the second Greek who renewed in Carditsa. After Giorgos Kamperidis, the 27-year-old guard signed a one-year extension of his cooperation with Thessalonians.

Nikos Diplaros started his career at Esperos of Patras. In 2015, at the age of 18, he made his debut in the A1 National Team with the shirt of Aris, to be followed by two seasons with the shirt of Panioni. In 2019 he made his first contract outside of Greece, as he initially played in the Bulgarian Lovcen, to finish the year in Georgia with the jersey of Batumi.

In 2020, Diplaros played for one season with Panathinaikos, with whom he had 13 appearances in the league and 3 in the Euroleague. In 2021, he wore the shirt of Apollon Patras, while in the 2022-23 season he was in Bulgaria and the Balkans where he competed in the FIBA ​​Europe Cup, while winning the Bulgarian championship with his team.

He has a total of 115 appearances in the Basket League with 615 points, 314 assists and 114 steals. In his first year last year with AS Karditsa JAPONIKI, in 25 games and 21.6 minutes of participation, he had 6.1 points, 2 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.2 steals.

Furthermore, Diplaros has won two gold medals in Pan-European championships with the National teams, in 2015 with the Youth National Team and in 2017 with the Young Men’s National Team, with a total of 52 international appearances and 267 points with the Children’s, Youth and Young Men’s teams.
