Pander on Barcelona: “I felt it was time after three unforgettable seasons in Belgrade”

Kevin Pander explained his decision to continue his career in Barcelona.

“It wasn’t easy, but it also couldn’t be compared to last summer which was complete madness. I felt it was time after three memorable seasons in Belgrade. I feel good as a new Barcelona player. A club with a rich history. I expect many good things”he said and continued:

“…coming to Partizan at the time it was playing in the Eurocup is one of the best decisions I made in my life. I remember how crazy they thought I was, that I came to Partizan for money or I don’t even know what, but look today. Partizan is a Euroleague club that everyone is talking about. I don’t think it’s because of me, don’t get me wrong, but it’s just an indication that I wasn’t wrong to come and have three seasons that I’ll never forget.”

Pander also mentioned the collaboration he had with Zeljko Obradovic.

“I love him. I have the utmost respect. We may not have agreed on every occasion, but great respect always prevailed. We would argue with each other, but then we would hug and kiss and understand what we want from each other and apply it on the floor. I repeat, he helped me a lot in these three seasons.”
