The first day of the European Cheerleading championship held in Oslo was painted… blue and white!
The Greek team triumphed and won a total of six medals during the first day of the games. The rapid growth of the sport resulted in all 21 teams competing on the first day of the championship taking center stage and all six reaching the podium!
More specifically, Greece won the gold medal with Geroyan-Thanasi in the Senior double Cheer Hip Hop category of the Aposperidis!
In the Senior All Girl Elite category, Greek Star won the silver medal and Pyramis won the bronze.
In the Junior Coed Advanced category, Greek Star won the bronze medal, just like in the category: Junior All Girl Advanced
Finally, the bronze medal in the Junior double Cheer Hip hop was worn on the chest by the duo (Kouveletsou-Doka) from the Evathlons of Trikala
In addition to the six medals, Greece also had five qualifiers in the finals. Let’s remember that on Friday and Saturday the qualifiers are held and the five best teams advance to the finals on Sunday.
The tickets for the top five teams went to: Rigel (Youth Pom), Amazons Dream Team (Youth Hip Hop), Electra and Myrtali Dancers (Junior Jazz), Pandora (Senior Jazz)
