Third place for the National Deaf men’s basketball team at the Malaga European Championship. In Saturday’s “small” final, he defeated Poland for the second time in the tournament, 86-80, and won the bronze medal, the first in 16 years.
The main protagonist of this victory was Apollon Deligeorgis, who in the last 10 minutes performed “in bursts”, with the Poles unable to stop him. He scored almost half of the National Team’s points (47, with 4/5 3-pointers).
