The National Children’s National Team qualified for the quarter-finals of the Eurobasket U16 of Heraklion. The representative group comfortably prevailed 68-55 against Poland in the “Two Aorakis” for the “16” of the competition and got the “ticket” for the eight, waiting there for one of Lithuania and Turkey.
Greece led 8-2 with Skliros, Stamoulos and Hatzilambros and their good defense. Poland fell to 8-7 and went on a 6-0 run to make it 8-13 at the end of the first period.
