His first interview after leaving her bench national England granted by Gareth Southgate!

The 54-year-old technician, who ended his 8-year tenure in the technical leadership of the “three lions” after the march to the final of this year’s Euro and was replaced by Lee Carsleymade it clear that he needs time to rest and revealed that his next job will likely be outside of football.

“I have a lot of prospects ahead of me, I’m very open-minded about what’s coming. My next job probably won’t be in football. I’ll take my time, refresh, recharge my batteries and go from there. I think the whole world understood that I needed to regain my lost energy.”said the former coach of our national team’s opponent in this year’s Nations League, while he then expressed his belief that this was the right time for a change in the team’s technical leadership.

“I think it was the right time for a change. I don’t regret a thing. We made decisions based on the information we had and tried to build a winning team. It makes no sense for me to talk about the national team now. I let others take action and lead the team to the next challenges. There’s no point in me getting involved in this.”he said.
