Leverkusen walked with four from halftime in Rotterdam!

Xabi Alonso’s team put on a dominant performance at the De Cape and broke through with the emphatic 4-0 the Feyenoordscoring all of their goals in their impressive first half and starring the 21-year-old Florian Wirzwho scored twice on his debut in football’s top club competition!

Six minutes later, Mr Virgo was anointed scorer again, placing perfectly in traffic and being unmarked after a great cross from Fribong, while in the 45th minute Grimaldo committed a foul and Tapsoba took the lead, with Wellenreuter to have the wrong reaction, sending the ball into his team’s net.

After a nightmare first half for them and after both teams returned from the dressing room, Feyenoord took possession of the ball and tried to threaten Hratetski’s goal, while the visitors managed their huge lead without much trouble. On 66′ Ueda made it 1-4, only to see his goal disallowed for offside, with 0-4 not to change until the referee’s final whistle.
