As every year, this year also European Athletics will award the top European male and female track and field athlete and chose ten people from each category as candidates for the award.
Last year, the award was won by Angelina Topic and Mattia Furlani.
The winners will be announced and awarded their trophies at the ‘Golden Tracks’ award ceremony to be held in North Macedonia on 26 October.
In the voting, 25% of the votes come from the public, 25% from the EAA member federations, 25% from the media and the last 25% from the European Federation panel.
