Brest made history in… its star-studded premiere!

Her premiere Brest at Champions League combined with the first victory in its history in the event, with the French na win 2-1 against Sturm Graz in Gengan and start their course in the league phase victoriously!

The visitors entered the match stronger and took the lead in the 13th minute with Jata. Or so they thought, as the goal was disallowed for offside!

The French took the warning and ten minutes later managed to take the lead with their first goal of the tournament.

Scorer o Magnetwho took advantage of a poor clearance by the Austrian defense on Lala’s wing-out and sent the ball into the net with an excellent shot from outside the area.

However, just before the break, Sturm Graz managed to equalise. THE Beving exploited the gaps in the French defense and made the turn, with the Fernandes sending the ball into his team’s net unintentionally, in the first minute of stoppage time…

Despite the… cold at the end of the first half, the French entered the second strongly and even quickly regained the lead.

In the 56th minute, Sima he received the ball in the area, protected it perfectly and sent it into the net from close range, making it 2-1!

The visitors raised their lines looking for an equalizer once more, but Yalkougye (68′) and Kiteisvili (73′) failed to beat Bizot.

In the 88th minute, Stade made it 3-1 but Dubya was beaten at the back of the net by Serpen, with the Austrians down ten seconds later as he was sent off. Lavallee.

The home team came close to the goal twice more in the remaining minutes, with Brest however not getting spoiled at all with the final 2-1, which was their first victory in the Champions League!
