Heavy “bell” from DEAB in AEL on the occasion of the incidents that took place at “AEL FC Arena”, in the Super League 2 premiere game against Kavala.
Specifically, the competent authority imposed on the “maroons” a fine of 10 thousand euros for the incidents caused by fans of her team against police forces.
The DEAB announcement in detail:
“- With Decision No. 51/2024 of the DEAB, an administrative fine of ten thousand euros (€10,000) was imposed on the PAE ATHLETIKI ENOSI LARISA, regarding a phenomenon of violence, related to sports, i.e. serious incidents provoked by its fans against police forces (by throwing a lot of stones, glass bottles, beer cans, metal seat bases and other objects against them), after the end of the first half, in the immediately surrounding area of ​​the “AEL FC ARENA” stadium , during the conduct of the football match of the 1st match, of the A’ group of the Super League 2 championship, 2024-2025 season, between the first declared PAE and PAE KAVALA, on 9/21/2024. With the same decision, an abandoned natural person was released due to doubts, as to the extent and type of his participation in the above episodes. Application of Article 9 of Law 5085/2024″.
Shortly after the decision, AEL issued a statementmaking it clear that he fully respects the judgment of the competent committee, even urging his fans not to take similar actions in the future for the safety of the world and the team.
