Javier Ribalta was born on September 14, 1980 in Barcelona, ​​Spain. His active football career began in the summer of 2008, when he joined Torino’s scouting department. After just one year, he took up the same position at Milan, where he worked for the next two years.
In July 2011 he took over as head of the scouting department at Novara and a year later he took a very important “transfer” taking the same position at the Grand Lady of Italian football, Juventus, where he remained for five years.
In the summer of 2017, he moved to England on behalf of Manchester United, where he once again held the position of head of the scouting department. In July 2018, he took another important step in his career, as he accepted the offer to take up the position of Sports Director at Zenit St. Petersburg, where he remained for the next three years.
