The “civil war” is raging in Diagoras Rhodes. Announcement – reply to PAE issued by his administration amateur.
Among other things, the amateur emphasizes that he is not willing to enter into any dialogue with PAE, as long as he remains in the position of technical director of the team Makis Sidiropoulos, convicted of match-fixingwhile characterizing delinquent and illegal the decision of the PAE to close the stadium doors to the fans of the team and calls on all local bodies to do whatever is necessary for the team to return to the island of Rhodes.
The announcement of G.S. Diagoras of Rhodes:
“After an extraordinary board meeting of the Board of Directors of G.S. Diagoras at our OFFICES (8 present 3 absent) the following was decided: “G.S. Diagoras respecting its 120 years of history and all the friends of the association, does not does not wish to have any dialogue with PAE Diagoras, when its technical director is Makis Sidiropoulos, convicted of match-fixing, and since, with its criminal and at the same time illegal action, it has closed the doors of the stadium to all the sports fans of the island, and especially to the owners term that have paid off the cards from their arrears.
We are not going to enter into any kind of dialogue with a PAE that is a simple manager, as the majority of its shares are in Cyprus in the possession of (S.M) 71.43% which has nothing to do with Diagoras PAE nor with them who wrote the announcement. We reserve every legal right of G.S. Diagoras and the legally elected executives of his administration, against anyone responsible for any positive and consequential material and moral damage.
We call on the local bodies, the Mayor of Rhodes Mr. Alexandros Koliadis, the Regional Governor Mr. Georgios Hatzimarkos as well as all the Dodecanese MPs to do what is necessary so that the PAE Diagoras returns to its natural seat which is none other than our island of Diagoras. We thank the former Deputy Minister and current Member of Parliament for Dodecanese Mr. Ioannis Pappa as well as the Deputy Mayor Ioannis Mitsou for their public support in our fair fight for the return of our beloved team to our island.
Today, the competent prosecuting authorities will also be informed by our letter.”
