Arseniadis took over Floisvos

Costas Arseniadis officially assumed the technical leadership of Flisvos on Thursday. The TAA of the newcomer to the Volley League men’s team of P. Faliro announced the hiring of the experienced Greek technician until the end of this season, to replace Nikos Neophytos.

Arseniadis’ last team was the AEK women’s volleyball team in the 2022-2023 season.

“TAA AO Floisvos Palaio Faliro members paron announces the start of cooperation with the Greek coach Costas Arseniadis.

The experienced coach will have his first meeting with the team today Thursday, immediately assuming duties, ahead of the home match against PAOK.

Kostas Arseniadis was born on 24/10/1967 and started his coaching career as an athlete from Aiolos Tavrou, while in 1987 he moved to AEK, where he played for eight years before transferring to Ionikos Nikias, to which he also “closed”. his career in 1997.

From 1990, he started coaching with the women’s section of Aiolos Tavros, to be followed by the infrastructure sections of AEK (92-94) before jumping to Metamorfosi, which he took over in the B local and with five promotions in six years led it to A2 category. The next stage of his career was Pagrati in 2000, which he took over from the B’ National and led it to the A1 National category (2003), with the most important moment of his collaboration with the club being the fifth place and the exit to Europe in 2006.

Between 2007-2009 he took charge of the teams of Kifissia and Herakles, winning the 2008 Super Cup with Thessaloniki, while in the two years 2009-2011 he was on the bench of AEK and from 2011 to 2018 he returned to the bench of Kifissia. In 2020 to 2022 he took over the women’s team of AEK.

He has also coached the men’s national team, as well as the development departments of the Federation, achieving significant success.

After the formalization of the partnership, Costas Arseniadis said: “I am honored by the offer made to me to take over Floisvos. Everything was very fast, from the first contact to the agreement, which came in a very short time, because this is a very serious club in all areas and I could say that it is a rising force in the field of volleyball.
