Ready for… royal escape from Opava it’s AEK Betsson!
The Union is hosted tonight at 19:00 in the Czech Republic, by Maccabi Ramat Gan as part of the 5th matchday of the BCL and will be looking for victory in order to “lock” the 2nd place in the fifth group.
Dragan Sakota’s team has 3-1 record with their only defeat coming in Germany against the group leaders Bonnwhich he will face next matchday.
In the competitive part, his debut with AEK will be made by Joshua Obiese.
AEK Betsson BC coach Dragan Sakota said after the midday training session about the match:
“We know very well the situation in our group. We have a chance to take first place with two wins and that is what we will try to do. But the “key” in this process is always the next match, which is away from home and against a good team, such as Maccabi.
Our opponent has a chance to aim for 2nd place and will definitely play hard. It was therefore very important to win at the SUNEL Arena against Maccabi in the first round and by a good margin, however, I don’t want it to be on our minds at the moment. And that’s because we have to have victory as our main priority.”
