Fournier blasted the EuroLeague for the postponement of Paris-Fener: “If you can’t compete, then it counts as a loss”

by

His opposition to the Euroleague’s decision to proceed to postponement of tonight’s match between Paris and Fenerbahce for the 17th matchday of the tournament, due to the home team’s inability to field eight players, expressed through social media the Evan Fournier.

His 32-year-old guard/forward Olympiakou he emphasized with his post on “X” that every team competes almost every day with problems of injuries and illnesses and that if someone cannot compete, then it would be better if he loses the match…

And this because, according to him, postponing a match can lead to manipulation and unfair competition between teams.

“Every team plays every night with illnesses and injuries. If you can’t field your team with enough players to compete, it should count as a loss. When you postpone the game, you potentially allow teams to manipulate the rules and that becomes dangerous. That’s just my opinion”said the French ace of the “red and whites”.
