They caught… 13 goals for the Thunder, big wins for Celtics and Pacers

The 13 consecutive victories for the first time in their history were reached by Thunder who crushed the Clippers 116-98 and at 28-5 they have the second best record in the NBA, behind only the Cavaliers (29-4). Shay Giljus Alexander had 29 points without playing in the final period for the Oklahoma team. James Harden was absent for the LA team.

The Celtics beat Minnesota 118-115 and with 25-9 they remain second in the East. Jayson Tatum had 33 points, 9 rebounds and 8 rebounds and along with Jaylen Brown who added another 26 points made sure that the void of the injured Jaylen Brown was filled. The Timberwolves came back from -8 in the last two minutes, but Anthony Edwards’ 3-pointer missed the target in the final two minutes, and he was limited to 15 points on 5/16 shooting.

Led by a terrific Tyrese Halliburton who had 33 points and 15 assists without making a mistake, the Pacers beat Miami 128-115. Jimmy Butler had 9 points and didn’t play in the fourth quarter for the second straight Heat game.

The Warriors defeated the Sixers 139-105 with Steph Curry having 30 points on 8/8 three-pointers, but also 10 assists in just 30 minutes. Joel Embiid had 28 points and 14 rebounds for Philadelphia, which is eleventh in the East at 13-19.

The absence of Anthony Davis did not cost them Lakersled by LeBron James’ 38 points (7/10 three-pointers) they beat the Blazers 114-106.
