Almeida: “The group became stronger through the events – All united in the battle for the championship and the Cup”

Speaking to Cosmote TV ahead of the match against Panaitolikos, the Argentine emphasized that the group came out stronger from the events of the previous days.

For the taste left by the game with Panathinaikos: “A strange taste. On the one hand, obviously the result was bitter. On the racing side, I think there were some good things. Of course, we were left with this question about the penalty that was not awarded. But I think we should continue.

We are, of course, saddened by this defeat, that is true. But we must not change our ways. Through all these events that have happened in the past few days, I feel that this group has become stronger. We are strong as a group too. And when I talk about group, I mean the management, our world, the players and the technical staff. When these points are strong, this means that the “table” is very well supported.”

For the match against Panaitolikos: “We lost in the first round against Panaitolikos. We will have to play our own game, knowing how the opponent will operate both defensively and offensively. And, as I always say, these games are tough.”
