Dubai’s ATP 500 semifinals celebrated on Thursday night (27/02) by Stefanos Tsitsipaswho, though difficult, prevailed 2-1 set by Italian Mateo Beretini.

For the first time in 2025, the Greek tennis player, No.11 of the world rankings, is in the semifinals, stating after the end of the race that he is now starting and performing well to the Cortes and that he gets important Psychological victories.

In detail the statements by Stefanos Tsitsipas:

“The season started well, we’re back. I had a long time to be so far away in a tournament. I play good tennis right now to get to this point. It was a difficult game, I had a lot up and down.

My first set was a great effort, but in the second I didn’t do well, I couldn’t manage things. Things were a little confused, but it was very important that I got this last set, because I was winning some psychological battles.

It was one of these games that would be much dependent on the service. It was very marginal at times, I was not able to get the points and play as I wanted and the work I wanted to do. It was a very marginal battle and people were on my side. So that was very important. “
