Court of State of Sao Paulo rejected Neymar’s request to suspend the publication of a podcast that records the life and confrontations of Brazilian footballerstressing that such a ban would be censorship.
A first 44 -minute episode of Podcast, entitled “Neymar project: success or failure?”posted on YouTube on April 22 by the UOL web, despite the request of Santos player for an “emergency” ruling, which was rejected by the court.
The first part of this sound research explores the ambitious “Neymar project, a marketing plan created by Santos to return the 33 -year -old superstar to the team that highlighted him.

The judge, who examined the case, dismissed the suspension of the publication of the first episode and the disclosure of the content of future funds prior to their release.
These conditions, he said, constitute “abhorrent censorship, in which our legal system is opposed. The consent of the person depicted is not required for literary or audiovisual biographical works. ”
The court, however, gave Neymar five days to “modify the original request” and appeal.
It is noted that according to the court, UOL reporters called on Neymar to join Podcast, but never received an answer.
