Michelakis returned to PAOK

PAOK’s volleyball player became George Michelakis again. The amateur “Dikefalos” announced the 28 -year -old’s acquisition for the following year to strengthen the section in this position, with the player returning to the “black and white” after two years of absence, where he fought in OFI.

In detail, the announcement:

“PAOK and the men’s volleyball department announce the start of a partnership with the athlete, George Michelakis, for the 2025-2026 season.

Born on 27/05/1997, George Michelakis competes as a Libero and has a height of 185cm.

He began his career at the Chania SPA in 2010, staying in the Crete team until 2015.

Then there was a four-year period in Thessaloniki, competing for Ayanta Evosmos (2015-16), Hope Ampelokipi (2016-17), AMS Nestor (2017-18) and Pegasus Polichni (2018-19).

In 2019 he was transferred to Philippe Veria, with whom he lived the historic rise of the Imathia Association in the Volley League men, as well as the first moments in the top class of Greek volleyball, staying there until 2022.

In the 2022-23 season, he held his first term in PAOK, winning the Greek Cup in Kalamata’s Final-4.

He then followed a two-year (2023-2025) of OFI, making excellent appearances. Indeed, this year was the leading men in the Volley League.

On the start of a cooperation with PAOK, George Michelakis, told the club’s official website, acpaok.gr: “Three years later I return to PAOK team. I am impatient for the season that comes and very happy to be in the team in such an important year. I am ready for the 100th anniversary of the team to help play nice volleyball, to claim titles and bring the world to Palataki to celebrate all together. ”
