Early exclusion for Tsitsipas by Roland Garros: defeat by … silver, gigado

by

Bid farewell prematurely the Roland Garros the Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Greek tennis player never appeared in the clash with Massimo Gigande and fateful losted 3-1 setsaying goodbye to the top tournament early.

Very bad look by Tsitsipasthat beyond the second set in which Tie Break needed to get it (7-5), losted with hands down by the Italian in the number 167 of Ranking!

Gigade got the first set relatively comfortably, immediately making 1-0 in the games with Stefanos responding and turning the scoring. The battle showed that it would not be easily judged, but the Italian made the break and managed to get the set 6-4.

Tsitsipas entered the second set very dynamically making it 4-1! But Gigande, with a stunning demarage, brought the Tuba match and equalized 4-4 making another break. But Tsitsipas, despite his opponent’s lead and equalizer, managed to equalize in the sets through Tie Break (5-7).

While he had to … load after the difficult set he got, Tsitsipas went very badly to the third watching Gigande get a break with “Good Morning” and doing 2-0 quickly. Despite the reduction of the score, Stefanos succumbed very easily, was forced to a second break and was easily lost by the Italian who made it 2-1 (6-2).

The fourth set developed in a thriller with Tsitsipas making it 1-0 in the games and Gigade reacting, marginally the next three for 3-1. Stefanos reduced to 3-2, but he looked out of pace, with the Italian making it 4-2 and Tsitsipas responding again to 4-3.

In the eighth game of the set, it was essentially judged after Tsitsipas missed three opportunities to equalize 4-4, but Gigande with consecutive breaks broke his opponent’s 5-3.

Tsitsipa’s psychology was now evident from the body language with the Greek champion trying to break the Italian service and succeeded by reducing it to 5-4.

The agony remained and the two tennis players were involved in an unparalleled Bra de Fer that would judge the whole match. The Italian was found to be 3-1, with Tsitsipas reducing to 3-2.

Gigande refused to throw his lead with 5-3 coming and Tsitsipas looking for a miracle. Stefanos did it, after a stunning demarcation reduced to 5-4.

The total overthrow, however, did not come with Jigande to make this comeback victory and finally get the game and the match 3-1 (6-4).

The set: 6-4, 5-7, 6-2, 6-4 (3-1)
