World Employee and Amateur Games: Countdown to Loutraki

There are thousands of competitors and companions for the world of workers and amateurs, June 3-8, as the number of people who will take part in this great event exceeds 4,500 from 60 countries.

The eighth world institution will begin on Tuesday with the qualifiers in swimming and tennis. The opening ceremony will take place on Wednesday night (20:00), which will highlight the cultural footprint of the area over the centuries.

“When we claimed the event, our vision was to give Loutraki the place it deserves on the international map of sport. Our proposal stood out and from June 3 to June 8th our city will turn into an open, world village. Relationships will be born from various countries, cultures and stories and, through sport, will stay alive. This event was also claimed by Busan (N. Korea,) but the Greek proposal prevailed. “Our decision to host CSIT’s 88th World Games in Greece and Loutraki was natural and meaningful. Co -organizer at the “8th World WarK of Workers and Amateurs” is the Hellenic Organization for Labor Sports and Health.

“In 2011, when the Hellenic Organization for Labor Sports and Health was founded, we aimed to do various sports events that would give Greek and Greek workers the opportunity to get to know the work sports, values ​​and benefits it offers. The implementing body is the “Sportcamp”, which supports sports internationally.

The races will be held in the modern infrastructure of Sportcamp, in sports infrastructure available by the Municipality of Loutraki – Perachora – Agioi Theodoroi, such as the Loutraki Municipal Stadium “Christos Thodis”, the Loutraki Indoor Gymnasium “G. Galanopoulos ”and the Loutraki Municipal Swimming Pool, as well as in sports venues available by the municipalities of Corinth, Velos – Vocha and Tripoli.

The Games are supported by the Peloponnese Region, the Municipality of Corinth, the Municipality of Velos – Vocha, the Municipality of Tripoli and the Loutraki Tourism Organization.
