Aitor: “My time at AEK ends here, my team gave me what I needed”

I wanted to write these lines to let you know that my time as AEK Larnaca footballer has come to an end. I came a year ago and found a club that opened its doors for me and offered me love and trust that I never expected to find. It was an important moment for me, and AEK gave me everything I needed. I will never be able to repay them how beautiful they made me and my family feel this season.

Thanks to the efforts of all my teammates, we have managed to finish a very good year on the pitch, culminating in winning the cup. When a footballer decides to devote himself to this sport, he does it to live moments like her – to win titles and make many people happy.

I leave with a sense of gratitude to all: the administration, the staff of the club, the technical team, the medical team, the teammates and the fans. You all made me feel at home, though I was thousands of kilometers away.

My time as AEK player ends here, but be sure that from now on I will continue to support you from afar as a fan. I will always carry you in my heart. I wish you the best possible future, and I am convinced that the next season will be just as successful, because the team I leave behind is special.
