by

With a moving message, the Babis Kostoulas bid farewell to Olympic and is heading to Brighton.

The Greek forward said it was his dream of fighting with the reds and this became a reality, while stressing that he would be a supporter of Olympiacos.

He thanked him separately Vangelis Marinaki and Jose Luis Mendilibar And he promised to meet his paths again with those of Piraeus.

In detail his message:

“Dear friends of Olympiacos.

I want to write you with all my heart, because this decision was not easy at all. Just one season after my start on the business trip, it’s time to leave the club I loved growing up.

Olympiacos was never just a team for me. It was my childhood dream. From my first steps in football, I wanted to wear this jersey, honor the emblem, make my family proud. And this dream came true.

I had the honor of living moments that I would remember forever. The conquest of the UEFA Youth League, to become the first Greek team to score it, the goals in big derby, the sense of Karaiskakis, the pulse of the world. All this made me a better footballer, but mostly a better person.

I would like to thank President Vangelis Marinakis for his confidence and support, as well as all the coaches and staffs I worked with, from the Academy to the first team. I especially thank Coach Mendilibar for the guidance and valuable experiences he offered me at the highest level.

I know I’m still in the beginning. I have a lot to learn, a lot to live. But whatever the future reserves me, one thing is for sure. Olympiacos will always have a special place in my heart. I will continue to support you as a loyal supporter of the team, with the same love and pride that I felt when I was wearing the jersey.

This is not goodbye. It’s one we’ll meet again.

With respect and deep appreciation, H. Kostpilas. “
