World Cup: see the qualified teams for Qatar

by

The 2022 World Cup, which will be played in Qatar, already has nine teams qualified for the tournament. The Worlds is set to start on November 21st of next year, with the final being held on December 18th.

In the South American qualifiers, Brazil was the first country to guarantee its place and the only one on the continent so far. Tite’s team stamped their passport after beating Colombia last Thursday (11), 1-0, in São Paulo.

But the first team to confirm its participation — with the exception, of course, for Qatar, which as host city is already classified — was Germany.

Current world champions, France also guaranteed their place in the 2022 World Cup, as well as the runners-up of the previous edition, Croatia.

Also in Europe, Spain, Denmark, Belgium and Serbia will be in Qatar next year. The Spaniards, who won the title in 2010, are looking for a two-time world championship.

Africa, North America, Oceania and Asia (apart from Qatar) still do not have confirmed selections for the Cup.
