A player in Mykonos was Yiannis Sidirolia on Thursday. The Cyclades announced the acquisition of the 24-year-old guard for next year, with the player already incorporated into islanders’ training.

“Giannis Sidirolia in Mykonos. Mykonos announces with great pleasure the deal with Yiannis Sidiroilia for the 2025/26 season. Giannis Sidiroilia was born on October 29, 2001 in Thessaloniki, is 1.97 m high and competes as a guard-forward. Last season he wore the HANTH jersey, scoring 8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 0.7 steals in 23 Elite League entries, with an average of almost 24 ‘participation per match.
He began his first basketball steps on Mars, with which he won a championship of children and two teenagers (EKASTH). In 2019 he signed his first professional contract with Mars, while also making his first appearances at Stoiximan GBL.
In January 2023 he moved to Korivos using a double card, where he had 5.7 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 22 games. In the 2023/24 season he started competing in the National League 1 with Aretsu Kalamarias and then returned to the Elite League with Harilaos Trikoupis, recording 6.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 15 matches.
After his presence in HANTH last year, Yiannis Sidirolia joined Mykonos and is already involved in preparing the team, making himself available to Vangelis Ziagou, in view of the historic first participation in the Stoiximan GBL championship.
