The main European leagues are in the final stretch, with champions already defined in France, PSG, and in Germany, Bayern Munich. Others are very close to winning the cup, like Real Madrid in Spain.
In Italy, the fight is still open: Inter Milan, Milan, Napoli and Juventus have chances to win the title, with an advantage for the teams from Milan, who lead the competition.
With Manchester City and Liverpool in first and second respectively, well ahead of third-placed Chelsea, the Premier League also promises a close match between the two teams in the final rounds.
In Germany, Bayern Munich won the title on Saturday (23) with three games to spare, beating Borussia Dortmund 3-1. The Bavarians have 75 points against Borussia’s own 63. It was the club’s tenth consecutive national title, led this season by Julian Nagelsmann.
In the French Championship, PSG also confirmed their title on Saturday by drawing 1-1 with Lens. The victory came with four games to spare, but it wasn’t just a party atmosphere at the Parc des Princes stadium. Part of the fans, especially the organized ones, remained silent during the game in protest against the elimination in the round of 16 of the Champions League.
In addition to the new champions, places in the two main European competitions, the Champions League and Europa League, are among the clubs’ goals at the end of the European season, which ends in just over a month.
The current editions of the two international tournaments, by the way, are also coming to an end. On Tuesday (26), Manchester City and Real Madrid open the dispute of the Champions League semi-finals, at 16h (GMT), in England. The return game will be on May 4th in Spain.
In the other bracket, Liverpool and Villarreal will face off on Wednesday (27), in England, and will face each other again on May 3, in Spain.
The decision is scheduled for May 28 at the Stade de France in Paris, France.
The Europa League semi-finals will start on Thursday (28), when West Ham hosts Eintracht Frankfurt, England, at 16:00 (Brasília), at the same time that RB Leipzig and Rangers duel in the Germany. The two return games will be on May 5th.
The final will take place on May 18 at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán stadium in Seville, Spain.

With five rounds to go in the Spanish Championship, it is very difficult to imagine that the title will come out of the hands of Real Madrid, leader with 78 points, 15 more than Barcelona and Sevilla, both with 63, in second and third positions, respectively.
In the next round, Carlo Ancelotti’s team only needs a draw against Espanyol, on Saturday (30), at the Santiago Bernabéu, to take the trophy.
On Friday (29), Sevilla opens the round against Cádiz, while Barcelona plays on Sunday (1st), against Mallorca. To keep their hopes alive, in addition to rooting for Real’s defeat, the two teams that are on the leader’s tail need to win their duels.
The fight in Italy is the one that involves more teams with chances to be champions. Milan leads the tournament with 74 points, two more than Inter Milan, who have a game less (34-33).
Next, also with title chances, are Napoli, with 67 points and 34 games, and Juventus with 63 points and 33 games.
The dispute, therefore, promises to drag on until the last round, scheduled for May 22.
