«It was not the way I expected this season to end. It’s hard to believe. It was the tournament I was looking forward to playing until the end of this year. I would like to dedicate it to all the beautiful moments I had on the field this year. Congratulations to all for the hard work, progress, concentration, pain, faith, acceptance, dedication, audacity and calm they put in 2021. There is no room for negativity and absolutely no reason to feel remorse, sadness or fear. My health and my good condition is the most important and always will be.

I would like to personally thank each and every one of my supporters for dedicating themselves to me throughout this daily journey. The fans are family. Coaches, agendas, physiotherapists, managers, associates, organizations, charities and teammates, thank you for bringing out the best in me on a daily basis. Your contribution is worth it. “I can’t wait to get back on the courts, to roar and fight.”
