According to data from the Ministry of Digital Government, this increase is based on the continuous expansion of public bodies that authenticate citizens through Taxisnet.
The government spokesman, Giannis Oikonomou, mentions the increase of citizens’ access to electronic services in a post on Twitter.
“Citizens’ access to online services with Taxisnet codes increased by 142% in the first five months of 2022,” he said in his post.
“With a plan, we are constantly expanding the public bodies that authenticate the citizens through Taxisnet in order to facilitate them”, he points out.

According to data from the Ministry of Digital Government, this increase is based on the continuous expansion of public bodies that authenticate citizens through Taxisnet. In particular, already in the first five months of 2022, 82 public information systems became able to provide digital services using Taxisnet codes as credentials. Thus, the total number of operators providing access to digital services with Taxisnet codes now amounts to 276.
