Rumor has it that Apple may bring back the battery percentage indicator on the new iPhone 14 Pro.
Ahead of Apple’s launch event this week, rumors are swirling that new iPhones will tell you exactly how much battery life you have left.
The iPhone maker has removed the accurate battery gauge from the iPhone X, which has a notch at the top of the screen.
After that, the battery icon shows only a dim battery percentage indicator. To see the exact amount of power remaining, the user must swipe down in Control Center.
With the upcoming iOS 16 update, Apple suggested allowing the battery icon to show the battery percentage, but people didn’t take it well.
So, in the end, Apple decided to display the battery percentage on the battery icon.

The leaker has shared actual screenshots of the new iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max screens, showing an always-on display. It seems to have confirmed the leaker.
Apple has set the launch date for its latest product for September 7 at 6:00 p.m.
Apple is set to introduce four new iPhone models this year, but is expected to make some significant changes to its lineup.
An earlier leak suggested that the iPhone 14 lineup might not come with a 5.4-inch “mini” version.
