Athens is hosting this week the 21st Scientific Conference of Research – Candidates of Doctors European Academy of Wind Energy (European Academy of Wind Energy – Ewe).
The conference, considered one of the most important internationally for science and research in wind energy, is being organized this year by the National Technical University On behalf of the Academy, with the support of ELETAEN.
The commencement of the conference is scheduled for October 1st. Almost 150 scientists are expected to be attended by doctoral candidates from around the world.
During the work, the latest research developments will be presented and discussed in areas such as wind turbine aerodynamics, control, maritime wind energy, data management and safety and wind potential.
Greece was actively involved in the establishment of the European Academy of Wind Energy in the early 2000s through the NTUA and the CAPE, which were its founding members. The participation of the NTUA in the academy’s actions remains important, which also explains the support provided by ELETAEN, its member businesses and other bodies at the Technical University for this year’s event.
