The deaths of Russian soldiers during the first three months of the “special military operation” in Ukraine are probably similar in number to the losses suffered by the Russians during the nine years of war in Afghanistan, reports the British Ministry of Defense.

He attributes this volume of casualties to a combination of poor ground tactics, limited airborne operations coverage, lack of flexibility, and an approach by the military administration that is willing to repeat mistakes.

The British Ministry notes that the number of dead soldiers continues to increase during the Russian attack on Donbas.

The latest information from London closes by pointing out that Russian citizens in the past have proven to be “sensitive” to the losses suffered by their army during wars of choice. “As the losses caused to Ukraine continue to increase, they will become more apparent and the popular discontent with the war and a desire to express it may grow,” the statement said.

Meanwhile, during a new telephone conversation on Sunday night, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the “unacceptable” blockade of Odessa, the largest port in Ukraine.

According to Downing Street, “the Prime Minister has expressed his determination to step up efforts to provide vital food and humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine and to ensure that the country can export to the rest of the world.”

Regarding the effects on the UK of reduced food and fertilizer exports from Ukraine and Russia, the Telegraph reveals that within a week the Johnson government will introduce a bill that will allow more genetically modified plants to be grown.

The aim is to produce crops with greater resistance to plant diseases, with less need for fertilizer, but also with less need for water under the threat of climate change.

THE Boris Johnsonmoreover, wrote an open letter to the children of Ukraine, promising that “we in the United Kingdom will not forget you.”

He tells children that they should be very proud “of your country, your parents, your families and your soldiers, and most of all yourself.”

He goes on to say: “Many of you have seen or experienced things that no child should have experienced. “Nevertheless, every day children of Ukraine teach us what it means to be strong and dignified.”
