Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi is expected to approve the “super green vaccinated pass” today, Wednesday.
This is a decision to be taken by the cabinet, which will meet in the afternoon and will concern the free access of the vaccinated to all enclosed spaces, but the restriction of the vaccinated, who take continuous diagnostic tests: they are expected to be allowed only to continue to enter, with a negative test, their workplace.
What needs to be clarified is whether the measure will apply immediately across the country, or whether it will only apply to areas with a higher number of cases.
A significant number of presidents of the Italian regions support the adoption of the “super pass” as soon as possible. Of the parties in the Draghi government, only part of the Lega leadership has expressed reservations.
At the meeting of the Italian government, at the same time, it is expected to decide to reduce the duration of the green pass vaccinated from one year to nine months, while it is possible to change the duration of the diagnostic coronavirus tests. The “quick tests” will, as it seems, be valid for only one day, and the molecular ones for forty-eight hours.
The “booster dose” of vaccines against Covid-19, according to the press, will become mandatory for all medical personnel in the country.
