Officials are no longer cooperating with the state investigation into the shooting at Robbie Elementary School, which killed 19 children and two teachers.

Police from the Waltworth and Wadden Independent School District have stopped cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Safety’s investigation into the genocide, law enforcement sources told ABC News.

School district Police Chief Pete Allend, who asked for more resources to wait out a prior conflict with the shooter, did not respond to requests for information for two days.

Nonetheless, Allend was sworn in as a city councilman in a private ceremony Tuesday night. Mayor Don McLaughlin said it was a tribute to the family that buried the boy that day.

He reportedly cut his involvement with the investigation after the state’s director of public safety, Stephen Macrom, told a news conference on Friday that arriving late at the police school was a “wrong decision”.

“Ultimately, of course, where I’m sitting right now, that wasn’t the right call. It was the wrong call,” McCrom said. There were obviously children in the room. It is clear that they were in danger.

When 18-year-old Salvador Ramos was barricaded in the classroom and 21 people were killed, Allend found that the situation had changed from active shooter to barricaded object.

Because of this, he believed it was time to receive the class key from the caretaker and allow the border patrol tactical team to arrive and enter the classroom behind the headlights.

The students were trapped in a classroom with armed perpetrators for over an hour.

Authorities continue to reveal a series of events that unfolded at Rob Elementary on May 24, prompting the US Department of Justice to begin its own investigation into the reaction to the shooting.

The burial of the dead begins on Monday and lasts for the next two weeks.
