It took “months of training and centuries of tradition” for the “major military spectacle” to take place, according to the UK Department of Defense.
Great was the mobilization on Thursday, and the majestic spectacle, for the celebrations of the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth which started on Thursday.

In a tweet posted during the Trooping the Color military ceremony, the ministry posted a series of photos demonstrating the festive atmosphere, revealing that 1,500 soldiers and officers attended the event. 400 musicians, 250 horses and 70 aircraft.
They needed “Months of training and centuries of tradition” to carry out the “major military spectacle”, according to the UK Department of Defense.
It is noted that the Metropolitan Police of London made arrests during the ceremony, but they did not spoil the festive atmosphere. Some people were arrested who tried to enter the ritual route.

The Trooping the Color, in which a regiment from the division of the royal house circulates its flag (color) in front of the other units, is held to honor the birthday of each monarch every year from 1760 onwards.

The touch will take place at night more than 3,000 torches in various parts of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. The central and most impressive torch will be lit in the “Tree of Trees” art installation located in front of Buckingham Palace.
The events for the Platinum Jubilee last for four days, from today, until Sunday 5 June.
