The Russian military cordon is tightening tightly in the strategically important city of Sheverodonetsk in the East. Absolutely indicative of the war nightmare, is the testimony of a Ukrainian soldier who fights on the front line in Donbas to SKAI’s envoy, Giannis Anifantis.

“In the last battle, a phosphorus bomb hit us and I could feel the phosphorus dust in the air. So now I’m not afraid to attack again. “Every time the Russians attack us, we become stronger and stronger,” he said the Ukrainian soldier Sheverodonetsk, Arthur.

Arthur is one of the Ukrainian soldiers on the battlefield defending their homeland.

From Severodonetsk, an area where battles are fought hand in hand, Arthur talks to Giannis Anifantis and describes what he and the other fighters are going through.

“The intensity of the fighting is growing every day, as the Russians are bringing more and more equipment to the front line. Sheverodonetsk is like a battlefield now. “Today half the city is occupied by Russian troops, so the most important thing is to be able to stop the enemy between Backbut to Lysichansk,” Arthur said.

Sheverodonetsk is a city of strategic importance with the Russians launching a full-scale offensive to conquer it.

Giannis Anifantis – SKAI Envoy: Can you tell us a little more about Severodonetsk which, as far as we understand, is the place where the biggest battles are taking place at the moment?

Ukrainian soldier Severodonetsk Arthur: Every day we count a large number of wounded and dead. We have the experience of being attacked. We know how the Russian artillery works, we know how the tanks move and now we know how the phosphorus bombs and the scatter bombs work.

Phosphorus and dispersal bombs that, according to Arthur, the Russians do not hesitate to use in Ukrainian cities, those who manage to escape believe even more in the homeland and victory.

“Every time the Russians attack us, we become stronger and stronger,” Arthur said.
