Police officers have not pleaded guilty to a second murder for shooting a black man.

Police officers arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a black man have pleaded not guilty to the second murder.

Christopher Envy, 31, was charged with the shooting and murder of Patrick Loia, a 26-year-old refugee from the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

In Michigan, life in prison for a second murder is the highest possible parole.
