Washington protesters for “our lives” fled after a man tried to get on stage.
He yelled “I didn’t shoot up the school” and threw things at people before being arrested.
People appeared to be leaning on the ground, as many were convinced the man had a gun.
Instead, speakers who later appeared on stage assured people that they were not at risk.
Shortly before noon, around 1:30 p.m. local time, a man standing next to an anti-Protestant group began shouting at the moment of silence for the victims of gun violence.
This caused several to run away and then several to cry.
