The pensioner died in hospital six days after being attacked by an electronic scooter driven by a 14-year-old boy.
Linda Davis, 71, was on the pavement on June 2 when she was attacked by a scooter in Rainworth, Nottinghamshire.
Linda, known to her family and friends as Lou, was taken to hospital but died last Wednesday.
The accident occurred on a privately owned scooter on Southwell Road East around 3:50 p.m.
“The 14-year-old boy, Rider, stayed there and contacted the ambulance, according to a statement from Nottinghamshire Police.
“Since then, he has been carefully questioned and investigated.
“Police are under investigation and staff are demanding the appearance of all witnesses.

“Experts are assisting the victim’s family.
Detective Constel Emma Temple said:
“Our investigation is ongoing and we encourage anyone who witnessed this confrontation or who may have CCTV or camera footage to contact us.”
Anyone with information will be asked to call 101, citing 441 in the June 2 incident.
