Ukraine scored a “significant” victory over Vladimirputin’s army after launching an attack on Russian-controlled Zmiinyi Island.

The Kremlin suffered heavy losses when Ukrainian troops destroyed the island in an air raid.

Satellite images show burning vegetation and crumbling towers as Kieu’s army continues to regain control.

Air-launched rockets also damaged the Russian Panzer anti-aircraft system, radar stations and vehicles.

The island became a symbol of Ukraine’s resistance to Vladimirputin’s tyranny in February, just before the invasion began.

A brave group of 13 soldiers were found saying “go on your own” when they refused to surrender to a Russian warship.

The crew was initially believed to have died after Moscow shelled the island with artillery.

This was the first time Kieu had said he had hit a Russian ship with a Western-supplied anti-ship missile.

A Russian worker who inadvertently filmed the strike heard laughter when he saw the drone fly.
