“Baykar will not accept money and will send 3 UAVs free of charge to the Ukrainian war front”

Ankara continues to play the “double game” against Kiev and Moscow. At the same time that Tayyip Erdogan’s spokesman is talking about “anti-Russian sanctions” in the West, the Turkish weapons systems company Baykar, which manufactures the Bayraktar TB2 drones, announced that he will grant for free in Ukraine three of them, for which the whole country raised money!

“Baykar will not accept money and will send 3 UAVs free of charge to the Ukrainian war front. Instead, we demand that the money raised be given to the struggling people of Ukraine. We were moved by their strength and determination in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges. ” states among other things the announcement.

The Turkish drone company announced earlier this month that it would donate one of its unmanned aircraft to Lithuania.

The decision came after Lithuanians mobilized to raise money to buy drones to donate to Ukraine in its fight against the Russian invasion.

Absolute “no” in the “anti-Russian sanctions”, as he characterizes them, Turkey says in the meantime, with the excuse that someone should maintain a mediating role with Moscow.

Turkey will not take part in “Western anti-Russian sanctions” over Ukraine crisis, Turkish presidency spokesman says Sunday Ibrahim Kalin.

“We are pursuing a well-balanced policy towards Russia. “We do not impose sanctions and we will not participate in them,” said Tayyip Erdogan’s “right hand man”.
