“We know there are several dead and several injured,” police inspector Søren Thomasen told a news conference, adding that it is possible that this is a terrorist act. “We have no information that other perpetrators are involved. That’s what we know now,” he said.

The history
A heavy police force rushed to the shopping center in the Amager district after shots were fired earlier and “several people were hit” by the gunfire.
When the first shots were fired, at least 100 people they ran out of the mall.
Police urged those inside the mall to remain there and await the arrival of officers while asking everyone else to stay away from the area.
The British singer Harry Styles he was to perform at a concert venue less than a mile from the mall. As announced, the concert will take place as usual.

Authorities advised those inside the mall to remain in place and wait for police assistance.
Field’s Mall, is located between the city center and Copenhagen International Airport.
An eyewitness told Ekstra Bladet newspaper that Danish police fired warning shots and shouted at a man with a gun to “drop the gun”.

The mayor of the city, Sophie Andersen, wrote on Twitter that “we do not yet know for sure how many are injured or dead, but it is a very serious event.”
All surrounding roads and the subway line were blocked, and ambulances rushed to the scene to transport the injured.
