Boris Johnson is getting ready to announced his resignation in the morning, according to information that information reported by the BBC. A group of advisers had been treating him since morning to prepare the letter of resignation.
He asks him to resign Boris Johnson with an open letter from Nadeem Zahawiwho was just on Tuesday appointed by the British Prime Minister to the post of Chancellor of the Exchequer to replace the resigned Rishi Sunak.
Mr. Zahawi states that he is devastated that Mr. Johnson did not heed yesterday the call of him and other ministers to resign and that now by refusing to leave the Prime Minister is “undermining the incredible achievements of the government”.
While not resigning himself, Mr. Zahawi concludes by urging the Prime Minister “do the right thing” and resign immediately.
Her resignation, however, was submitted by Michelle Donelan, who also succeeded Mr Zahawi at the Ministry of Education only on Tuesday.
In total they have now been submitted 54 resignations from the government scheme.
